左撇子們宣言，建立國際左撇子日的目的在于團(tuán)結(jié)世界各地的左撇子為爭取自身的利益而斗爭，喚起全社會(huì)對左撇子問題的關(guān)注，提醒人們在一個(gè)以右撇子為主的社會(huì)中改進(jìn)產(chǎn)品的設(shè)計(jì)并更多考慮左撇子的方便與安全，消釋數(shù)千年來在各種文化中都存在而今天也還在不斷制造著的對左撇子的偏見。
