今年APEC會議的主題為“共建面向未來的亞太伙伴關系”，下設3大議題，分別是“推動區(qū)域經(jīng)濟一體化，促進經(jīng)濟創(chuàng)新發(fā)展、改革與增長，加強全方位基礎設施和互聯(lián)互通建設”。近十年，我國與APEC成員貿易往來保持一定增速。
一、 貿易規(guī)模不斷攀升
海關信息網(wǎng)（www.haiguan.info）數(shù)據(jù)顯示，2004-2013年十年間，除2009年受國際金融危機影響外，我國與APEC貿易額持續(xù)增加。從2004年對APEC成員進出口0.84萬億美元，到2013年增加到2.67萬億美元，今年1-9月增加到1.98萬億美元。2004年，我國與APEC進出口增速達34.39%，為近十年最高增速。
二、貿易市場集中度高
我與APEC成員貿易往來高度集中在美國、中國香港、日本、韓國和中國臺灣省。2014年1-9月，我國與上述5個市場的進出口達1.26萬億美元，占我與APEC進出口額的63.64%。其中，我國對美國貿易往來位列首位，進出口4045.11億美元，增長6.69%。與越南貿易增長最快，進出口572.58億美元，快速增長21.84%。
三、進口以集成電路和糧農資源類商品為主
APEC成員進口前3甲商品分別為集成電路、農產(chǎn)品和食品。其中，進口集成電路1513.11億美元，下滑9.24%，占同期我國自APEC成員進口總額的16.58%。進口農產(chǎn)品和食品分別為539.99億美元和434.84億美元。其余進口商品以資源類商品為主，包括原油、煤及褐煤和成品油等。
