松針精油從松樹樹葉（針形樹葉）提取的精油。世界上有115種松樹，都屬于松科。松樹為常綠喬木，樹高3米到80米不等，樹齡很長。樹干覆蓋著厚厚的樹皮，花為黃色的，果實則為棕色的木質圓錐體。松樹有四種類型的葉子包括幼種葉，幼葉，鱗葉和針葉。通過蒸汽蒸餾對針葉進行加工，以提取松樹精油。精油為淺黃色，伴有森林香味。精油油含有的化學藥品包括冰片，乙酸冰片酯，A、B水芹烯，B蒎烯和3-蒈烯。

Pine Needle oil is extracted from the needles (which are a kind of leaves) of the pine tree. There are 115 species of pine tree, all of which belong to family Pinaceae. Pines are evergreen resinous trees which grow from 3 m to 80 m tall and are very long lived. The trunk of the tree has the thick and scaly bark, the flowers of the tree are yellow and fruits are brown woody cones. Pine tree has four types of leaves which are- Seed leaves, Juvenile leaves, Scale leaves and Needles. These needles are used to extract the essential oil of pine by steam distillation process. This oil is pale yellow in color and has a musky forest smell. The chemicals this oil contains are borneol, bornyl acetate, a, b-phallandrene, b-pinene and 3-carene.
